Traditional Ukrainian Motanka Dolls are ancient Ukrainian family talismans. They are the symbol of prosperity, goodness and hope. Each doll is unique and made with only good intentions and sincerity as it was believed that it has power and will act as a protector of a household and its inhabitants.
The name “Motanka” comes from the word “motaty” (to wind), to make a knitted doll out of fabric, without using a needle and scissors.
Join us for an afternoon of crafting your own Motanka Doll, filled with aromatic herbs, hope, and goodness! This workshop is taught by licensed Ukrainian therapist Natalia Hnatchuk
Fee: $40
All proceeds go towards humanitarian and medical relief efforts to support the people of Ukraine in Ukraine.
